The Corporate Information Governance Team are currently seeking someone to undertake the role of Information Governance Officer on a 20 hour per week contract.

Do you have knowledge and experience of information governance standards within a local government and public sector environment. Do you possess a detailed working knowledge of Data Protection legislation including the General Data Protection Regulations and an understanding of the Freedom of Information Act?

If so, we are looking for an Information Governance Officer to work within a team of experienced Officers within the Corporate Information Governance Team, Dudley MBC.

The successful candidate will assist in the management and handling of a variety of access requests, development and provision of policy and promoting recognition throughout the Council of all aspects of Information Governance.

You will act as a corporate feedback point for citizens, employees and stakeholders, regarding rights of access or compliance issues relating to all aspects of Information Governance.
