This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.
This is a fixed term post for 2 years.
We are looking for an experienced officer, who has a background working in the areas of enterprise or business support.
This new role will manage and deliver a number of programmes and areas of activity within the Economic Development Service.
The main responsibilities of the role being:
- Project management and delivery of one of the city councils, UK Shared Prosperity programmes, relating to enterprise and start-up activity to support local employment and growth.
This will also include regular monitoring and reporting the Funding Programme Manager.
- Delivering roles and activities for the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Growth Hub, across Stoke-on-Trent.
The role will be required to provide regular reports to the Growth Hub Manager and to also attend regular Growth Hub meetings and events.
- Supporting the delivery and administration of an efficient and professional Venue’s and Events service in Stoke Town Hall, as well as other council owned venues and to generate income.
- Delivering administration support to the councils Safety Advisory Group, in relation to events taking place across the city.
