£19,238 - £22,434 per annum 

This opportunity is offered as a full-time fixed term contract for 9-12 months to cover a member of staff currently undertaking a secondment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to progress their career in human resources.  It is an opportunity to learn and develop from the Senior HR Advisors and to get involved in a number of projects (TUPE, Redundancy and Restructuring Projects where direct HR involvement is needed).

Reporting into the HR Operational Manager, you will work as part of a team of 3 HR Advisors and 4 Senior HR Advisors providing HR advice and support to a wide range of managers with a varying degree of experience. You will need to utilise your experience and communication skills in order to coach the manager on Employee Relations matters, ensuring policy, procedure and best practice advice is delivered.

To apply you will need to be a self starter, have strong administration skills, be an excellent communicator and comfortable liaising with staff at all levels.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing support for more senior members of the HR team during formal meetings, etc.
  • Being a first point of contact for managers and employees requiring HR support
  • Joint responsibility for managing and checking the HR inbox
  • Maintaining employee records and information on the HR system
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects
