Warwickshire County Council’s Registration Service is part of the Resources Group. We are committed to excellent customer service and are always looking for ways to improve the way we do things to meet the needs of the people of Warwickshire and beyond.


As well as registering births, deaths and stillbirths, taking notices of marriage and issuing copy certificates we conduct around 2,500 ceremonies a year across Warwickshire in 85 excellent venues approved by Warwickshire County Council.


We’re looking for Ceremony Ushers to join our team working on a zero hours contract.

The Role

To provide meet and greet and to facilitate the organisation of Ceremonies at the Registration Office.


Location -Stratford Library and Registration Service, 12 Henley street, Stratford upon Avon CV37 6PZ

Zero hours as and when required essential Saturday, Sunday and bank Holidays during summer months.

The Registration Team is a large team, working across many locations in Warwickshire. If you are successful at interview but there are no suitable posts available, we will add you to our talent pool and keep your application on hold ready for our next vacancy for up to six months.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role you’ll need excellent customer service skills.. As you’ll be managing a variety of customers it’s important you have good communication skills. You will be used to working within a team as well as on your own initiative be flexible and able to work with people and confidential information with tact and diplomacy
