Salary - £40,221 - £48,474 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Plus Market Supplement £5,500 per annum currently to July 2025 (under review).

Working at a high level with project partners, your focus will be on delivery. We’ll look to you manage the development, implementation and handover of diverse transport projects.  We’ll expect you to keep a close eye on project finances and to prepare bids, businesses cases, tender documents and contracts. Leading meetings with citizens and stakeholders will be a key part of the role.

You have practical experience of leading multidisciplinary transportation and infrastructure projects. A Chartered or appropriately qualified Civil Engineer, you possess the skills to lead on the technical and the financial aspects of projects, from design to implementationThe ability to ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations is key. You are also equipped to provide specialist advice to different stakeholders and to help resolve issues.
