This is a funded post for a period of two years 

Walsall’s Virtual School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional who will work as an advocate for our Looked After Children.  As a Key Worker you will work alongside schools, Early Years providers, social workers, health professionals, foster carers/parents, adoptive parents and a range of agencies to support the Virtual School in ensuring that all Walsall Looked After Children receive a first-class education with high quality outcomes.

This post offers a great opportunity for a successful professional to contribute to the development of the Virtual School. You will be joining a highly motivated and expanding team, committed to improving the life chances of our children and young people. Applicants should have knowledge of, experience in, and a commitment to, improving school practice and outcomes for children looked after.
