Job Details
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications all-rounder to join our modern, creative team. Here, you will play a key role in many of our high-profile communications priorities.
You will lead the delivery of multi-channel communications for portfolios of work to support directorates ranging from children's services to housing, as well as corporate activity.
In line with our digital-first approach you will maximise digital channels, including social media and lead marketing campaigns and media relations work too.
Working at pace, you will need to create great content to deliver our messages to our key audiences. You will also play your part in continuing to evaluate, grow and develop our channels to ensure continued development of the service.
You will also be building trusted relationships with elected members and the senior leadership team as you work to define communications priorities and meet objectives to evidence value in all that we do.
You will be joining an award-winning council and a super-talented communications team which has great ambition to deliver the best in public sector communications as we work to protect, care and invest to create a better borough.
