Neighbourhood Officer

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated Neighbourhood Officer to work within a friendly, dynamic team to provide a customer focused, proactive service to our customers.

Based at Endeavour House, North Solihull, the Neighbourhood Services team provide a front-line service to our customers and is committed to helping create safe, sustainable communities.

You will be responsible for a specific patch, involving the effective tenancy management and also taking ownership of Anti-Social Behaviour across all tenures to ensure neighbourhood safety and tenants are supported. You will possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.

You will need to have experience in dealing with high level anti-social behaviour cases and with Tenancy Management. You will need to have the ability to deal with challenging behaviour and conflict management with knowledge of the relevant ASB and tenancy legislation and best practice. 

You will work closely with customers, local residents, the police and other partner agencies to develop strong relationships and positive collaborative relationships. 

The job is demanding and exciting, offering the opportunity to make a real contribution to the local community.

Please note that frequent travel across the Borough is an essential requirement of the role. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
