Are you a qualified planning officer eligible for chartered status?
We are seeking 2 experienced, enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our top performing, forward thinking planning department.
Working within Development Management you will need a proven record of being responsible for your own varied and often complex caseload, achieving quality planning outcomes and meeting national and local performance indicators. Experience of presentation to committee, at public inquiry and other forums is a key aspect of the job.
The role provides a real opportunity for you to commit to delivering a high quality, effective and efficient customer focused service in a City open for business and growth. You will be part of a team involved in exciting developments happening both on the ground and in the pipeline which include a new business quarter, large scale expansion plans of leading businesses, Coventry University and the University of Warwick, new leisure offer and regeneration of the City Centre.
The successful candidate has opportunity to progress to Senior Planning Officer which is subject to meeting criteria included in the job description.
