Based at our head office in North Solihull, you will work as part of a Rent Arrears Team responsible for managing housing accounts in debt.
The Accounts Manager Position involves taking cases through the Legal Stages of Rent Arrears from a Notice of Seeking Possession through the Court process and the Warrant Stage possibly leading to eviction if customers fail to comply with court orders, therefore candidates should have experience of court representation and will be expected to make visits to tenants homes as part of their duties.
A thorough knowledge of the Rent Arrears process, Housing Benefit and Welfare Reforms are also necessary in order to carry out the functions required within the post. The successful candidate will ultimately have responsibility for a designated area ‘patch based arrears’ and will work with an Arrears Officer responsible for cases leading to the issues of a Notice.
