Job Details

We are looking for a flexible, organised and self-motivated individual to join the Housing Team as a Homelessness Projects Officer. They will have excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting change to improve the delivery of services and efficiencies within the team

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking project work relating predominantly to move-on and prevention pathways and tasked with finding solutions for homeless applicants with more complex needs, in particular rough sleepers, young people, prison leavers, victims of domestic abuse and those with mental health or substance abuse issues. They will also provide project and strategic support across the wider Housing & Homelessness service where required. 

This is a new, fixed-term position for 12 months so we are looking for someone who is a fast learner with experience of designing services and building excellent relationships with partner agencies, colleagues and customers.
