Communities, Open Spaces & Facilities Apprenticeship
East Staffordshire Borough Council are offering a unique development opportunity through the creation of the Communities, Open & Facilities Apprenticeship. The role covers all aspects of this diverse service area and the suitable candidate will be involved in the following areas of Council business:
- Opens spaces and parks management
- Cemetery operations
- Facilities Management
- Health & Safety
- Community Safety and Partnership working
- Community capacity building
- Parking and Civil Enforcement
The candidate would preferable have an interest in one or more of these areas or a desire to learn about business administration in a public sector setting. Training and support opportunities will be provided throughout the period of the apprenticeship.
The Council are seeking a self-motivated individual who is willing to learn, be flexible and take a positive approach to their work. Working on your own or part of team is an essential aspect along with the ability to follow instructions, interpret data and information and make recommendations to colleagues.
