Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Revenues and Benefits for a Customer Contact Advisor who will be required to deal with inbound customer queries through multiple communication channels. The role will primarily consist of working in a busy Revenues and Benefits Contact Centre environment dealing with telephone, written, electronic and face to face communication.
The role of Customer Contact Advisor is to ensure a high level of customer care is always delivered, making sure customers are dealt with efficiently, effectively, and compassionately at the first point of contact.
Legislative, and systems training will be provided, however. Revenues and Benefits knowledge would be an advantage but not essential at this stage.
This post is operating as an office environment. Hours of work are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) and successful applicants will be required to work a minimum of 37 Hours per week.
Education Requirements
- Minimum of 4 Grade C GCSE’s or equivalents, to include English Language and Maths.
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office and evidence will be required at Test stage. Failure to provide this may result in your application being withdrawn at that point
A Basic DBS is required for the role

Upon Employment a period of approximately 6 weeks training will commence
Closing date for applications will be 5pm on Friday 11th September 2024
Shortlisted candidates must be available for test commencing 16th September 2024
And be available for Interviews which will take place commencing 23rd September 2024
Unfortunately, no alternative dates can be offered.
Once the successful candidate has been approved via clearances and references, and a DBS check has been completed a start date will be confirmed. We are currently looking at a start date of Monday 2nd December 2024.
