We are a small but dynamic Children's Commissioning team focussing on the redesign of a range of children's services, social care, education and health. We are committed to commissioning children's services that are high quality, good value, outcome focussed and personalised to the needs of Warwickshire's children and making a real difference to their lives.

The Role

37.0 Hours per Week

This role is an exciting and varied role that requires a committed and intellectually agile commissioner to drive best value, best quality services for our most vulnerable children and young people. This post is for a generic Children's Commissioner with specific responsibility, initially, for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability)and CLA (Children Looked After). The role will involve Needs Assessment/Gap Analysis, Strategy Development, Stakeholder Engagement, Customer Co-production, Service Redesign and Contract Monitoring and Review.

There are two positions available, one permanent and one fixed term for 2 years.


Key Requirements

The post holder will need to be skilled and experienced in partnership working with Health and/or Education and have experience in commissioning redesign and contract management, preferably within Children's Services.
