Registered Care Manager
An opportunity has arisen in our Children's Residential Small Group Homes for a Registered Care Manager to join a committed service in which staff are passionate about the work they do with young people in their care.
You will be required to manage two homes across the city and ensure that we continue to deliver quality services and improve outcomes for all our Children and Young People. You would be expected to translate innovative ideas into practice as well as managing and supporting the residential teams. You will work alongside young people, their families and partner agencies to ensure that the service meets the needs of the young people. You will also attend and chair meetings and reviews and complete reports as required within the service. You will be required to have a good understanding of OFSTED quality standards and regulations and effectively exceed these in the management of the small group homes.
You should have experience of managing the delivery of quality services to children and their families within an environment of competing priorities and finite resources. You must have knowledge of Child Care legislation and relevant national policies and guidance along with experience of child protection enquiries, investigations and care planning. You will also have experience of managing staff and resources and effective budget management.
Interviews will be held on 22nd August 2017.
