Job Details
The Governance Support Team offer Business Support to a range of Local Authority services providing a wide range of administration tasks which will allow the development of you're skills and knowledge. This role will be specifically assigned to the Schools Admission Appeals Process which requires liaising with schools, volunteers and parents across Staffordshire and organising virtual meetings. Full training in processes and systems will be provided.
Main Responsibilities- Provide excellent Customer Service via telephone and E-Mail to a range of stakeholders
- Process on line Applications and record sensitive information in internal electronic systems
- Coordinate events, including the production and distribution of agendas and reports
- Be responsible for the maintenance of records in line with data security, retention and protection policies
- Qualifications in Administration, English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE)
- Experience of using digital applications including Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently, with minimum Supervision
- The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and be resilient under pressure.
- Be organised and methodical to manage statutory deadlines within a process
