Job Title: Nursery Room Leader/Toddlers 2 - 3 years of age

Chipmunks Nursery is looking for a toddler room lead to join the team. September is a great time to start ready to meet all the lovely new toddlers that are joining Chipmunks and all of the adorable babies that are moving to toddlers from our baby room. Working with toddlers is hard work. However, it is fun and certainly rewarding. You will play a key role in the children's learning and development to when they leave Chipmunks to go to 'big' school. As room leader, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our diverse setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with children and parents.

The position is full time, however term time only would be considered. 

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of daily activities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members
- Manage the nursery room effectively, including resources, equipment, and documentation
- Provide support and guidance to staff members to promote their professional development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health & safety requirements
- Foster positive relationships with families and engage them in their child's learning journey

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or similar field is desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
