Job Details
We are currently recruiting to an Accounts Officer role in our Rent Accounting and Home Ownership Service. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
- GCSE Maths and English
- Additional education to level 2
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a housing finance environment
- Flexibility, reliability and able to work in an agile environment
- Experienced in reconciliation and analysing data
- Knowledge of leaseholder and Right to Buy legislation
- Excellent skills in Microsoft software, in particular Excel spreadsheets
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Be organised and meet strict deadlines
- Experience of electronic management systems for example in housing, finance and/or corporate management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The council operates hybrid working. This involves working from an agreed workplace location in the borough for at least two days a week.
