The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Biology Lab Technician to join our well-resourced and dynamic Science Department. You will be integral to the smooth running of practical lessons and experiments, providing essential support to both students and staff. Your expertise and enthusiasm will contribute significantly to the students' learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize materials and equipment for Biology practical sessions.
• Assist teachers during practical demonstrations and experiments.
• Maintain the laboratory and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support students during lab sessions, offering guidance and ensuring a safe learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Science Department, contributing to the department’s ethos of hard work and diligence.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in Biology or a related science.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both students and staff.
• A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the school environment.
