The Home Environment Assessment and Response Team (HEART) is a formal partnership across four authorities. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is proud to be the hosting authority for this service which brings together the provision of housing adaptations, improvements and minor adaptations for ourselves and partner authorities.
HEART is committed to continue to improve the services provided to customers and focuses on delivering the right solution at the right time to both the person and their carers. Our overall aim is to ensure that people are able to maintain an independent life and ensure their home environment is adapted appropriately and is safe and warm.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Housing Assessment Officer who will be responsible for the day to day management of a team who will provide an Occupational Therapy service to support and enable people to live independently. The role will primarily be based in the south of the County.
Applicants should have experience in delivery of a Housing Adaptations service and detailed knowledge of current legislation and government priorities.
2 year fixed term contract
37 hours per week
