Communications and Marketing Apprentice.

£3.50 per hour. Fixed Term Contract up to 18 Months

Wychavon is located in the West Midlands region. The district covers 664km2 of the south and eastern part of the county of Worcestershire and is the largest of the six Worcestershire districts. With a population of 116,900, the area is made up of the three towns of Droitwich Spa, Evesham and Pershore, and nearly 100 villages and hamlets.

Our headquarters are at the Civic Centre in Pershore, where most of our 235 staff are based. We also have Community Contact Centres in Droitwich, where residents can access district and Worcestershire County Council services, and at Evesham, where this is further enhanced with Job Centre Plus and Police services under one roof.

Do you have great communication skills? Love social media? Want to get ahead in marketing?

We’re looking for an apprentice with tonnes of confidence and initiative to support our busy but small communications team. You’ll learn about dealing with traditional and social media. You will help with marketing services to residents and supporting the team to get internal communication products out to our staff.

You don’t need any direct experience in communications; however, great writing skills, spelling and grammar are important here as is a love of technology and new media. Just as important will be your motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

In return you’ll get some fantastic skills and we’ll support you to complete a Level 3 qualification in digital marketing.
