At Barnardo’s, we believe in children. Our purpose is to transform the lives of the UK’s most vulnerable children and our vision is to realise Thomas Barnardo’s dream of a world where no child is turned away from the help that they need. If you have experience of working with families with young children, this is your chance play your part – and join the enthusiastic team here at our Bedworth Group of Children’s Centres.
Our aim here is to provide high-quality support to young children and their families, enabling them to develop, thrive and to build a strong resilience to cope with life. You’ll be key to making that happen as you deliver one-to-one support (including early intervention and home visits) and lead parent support groups and workshops. You’ll also work closely with other agencies to ensure that children’s needs and fully met.
A Level 3 qualification in Early Education, Social Care or Child Care is important, together with a background of working in partnership with parents and with children under five. The ability to manage your own time and workload is important too, as well as access to your own transport.
