Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SCP 9-17)

33.75 hrs per week, Term Time plus INSET days.

The Executive Headteacher and Governors of Chuckery Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to initially work in Key Stage 2.

We need someone who will:

• Support individual or small groups of children in class
• Support with other interventions as required
• Be able to plan and develop provision with class teachers and the Special Needs leader to meet the needs of individual children as required.
• Be willing to supervise children during their lunchtime break as part of the additional paid hours
• Be willing to attend staff training 3.30pm-4.30pm once per week as part of the additional paid hours
• Have an appropriate Level 3 qualification.
• Have GCSE Maths and English qualifications at grade C (Grade 4) or above.
• Have experience and confidence working with children in a primary school.
• Have high expectations of every child.
• Be reliable and enthusiastic about learning.
• Be an effective communicator.
