Bromsgrove and Redditch District Councils shared Finance service is on a journey. After being issued with a Section 24 notice in 2022, the Councils have been implementing an improvement programme to ensure they meet with statutory requirements and to build a finance function fit for the future.
Following the appointment of a new Head of Service, we are restructuring our Finance Services and are looking to build on the existing service provision with a number of key appointments.
Working directly to the Chief Accountant and Financial Services Manager, as Technical Accountant – Capital and Treasury you will be responsible for managing the Councils treasury function and capital programme including capital financing. This is a great opportunity for or someone currently in this kind of role or for those looking to take the next step in their career.
