Solihull Council is looking for a talented communicator to join its communications team. You will need to have top notch communication skills; experience of working in a complex organisation and be looking for a new challenge.

Based in Solihull town centre the job is a varied mix of PR with a little consultation and engagement thrown in. It will also involve some supervision of our graduate trainees.

The team uses a mixture of marketing, public relations and design to make complex issues simple to understand. You will work across all the Council services on a project basis providing colleagues with communications advice. This will involve creating and implementing communication plans that make the best use of all available channels in a cost effective manner.

The job is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop both communication and management skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
