Year 1 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover until July 2025) 

Main Pay Scale (M2 to M6) 

We are looking to recruit an effective and experienced practitioner to join our staff team in Year 1. 

The successful candidate will be well supported by a friendly and knowledgeable staff team who strive to ensure that the children at Whetstone Field Primary School receive the best education possible. 

We are a successful one form entry school graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in October 2023. 

Applicants will need to: 

• Be a good classroom practitioner and have high expectations of the pupils in their class 
• Be committed to ensuring all children achieve their full potential 
• Have some experience of teaching in KS1 
• Be friendly, a team player and have a good sense of humour 
• Be able to create a vibrant and exciting learning environment
