Are you ready to play a pivotal role in creating a safe, secure, and thriving learning environment for our school community? We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Site Manager to join our dedicated team!

Position: Site Supervisor
Reporting to: Head Teacher
Salary: Grade 4 Pt 7 – 11 (£24,294 – £25,979)
Hours/Weeks Paid: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks paid (Weekly working pattern to be agreed with Headteacher, will include some weekend working on at rota basis)

As our Site Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our school facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills supporting the Site Manager with site management, security, and maintenance, all while contributing to the vibrant ethos of our school. 

Our school site is unique and located in a beautiful conservation area in Penn. Our site includes a Grade II* listed building, a hydrotherapy pool and extensive grounds including large playground, lawned areas and woodland.

Key Responsibilities Summary:
•    Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and others.
•    Perform maintenance tasks including unblocking sinks, changing light bulbs, snow clearance, grounds maintenance, and pool management.
•    Manage security by unlocking/locking gates, handling alarms, and reporting breaches.
•    Uphold health & safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure contractor compliance.
•    Handle portering duties, including moving goods and materials on-site.
•    Conduct cleaning tasks like window cleaning, graffiti removal, and covering for absent staff.
•    Set up and clear furniture for assemblies and other functions.
•    Operate and maintain cleaning machinery and tools.

Qualifications and Experience:
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grades A-C)                                  
Good working knowledge of Health and Safety protocols including COSSH            
Proven Maintenance skills                                     
Applicant must hold a D1 class Driving License (Minibus)
Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with severe learning difficulties and/or autism, is preferred but not essential.
