Job Title: Library Customer Adviser
Salary: £11,115 - £11,300 per annum
17.5 Hours per Week
Location: Kidderminster and Stourport Libraries

The Role:
Worcestershire Libraries are recruiting!
Our libraries team are looking for an individual to fill a post within Kidderminster & Stourport Libraries. The role is diverse, exciting and no two days are the same. The successful candidate will help our customers access a wide range of resources and services. A typical day could see you provide digital one-to-one support, lead events and activities such as a song or storytelling session for children and carry out routine library tasks. Expect to learn something new everyday in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and energetic, with excellent customer service skills. A will to find an answer to whatever question is asked is key. You may have a background in retail, community, education, early years or library work - but whatever your experience, your understanding of the customer will be crucial. If you enjoy working with people, thrive on providing excellent customer service, and you would like to be part of an innovative and enthusiastic team, then we would like to hear from you!
Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays. While the roles will be primarily based at Kidderminster and Stourport Libraries, there is an expectation that you would work where needed at any library in the cluster when required. This cluster includes Kidderminster, Stourport, Bewdley and Tenbury Wells.
