The role
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to join our Commissioning Service. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of quality across commissioned services within the children and young people’s care market. Leading a small team, you will provide the Directorate with assurance that the care and support services children and young people receive are of excellent quality, optimising the safety, wellbeing and quality of life of individuals and supporting them to achieve the outcomes that are important to them.

What will you be doing?
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a robust quality assurance function across commissioned providers and also contribute to the management of contract outcomes and key performance indicators through effective working with commissioning colleagues, feeding intelligence into all stages of the commissioning cycle. You will be expected to form excellent relationships with commissioned providers and will also work closely with other parts of the system, including key partners and regulatory bodies (OFSTED).

About You
As a Quality Assurance Manager you will be:
•Experienced in working within children's social care settings or health settings and/or local authority children’s services and/or experience working with care sector providers.
•Able to manage a high volume Quality Assurance portfolio.
