Actual Salary: £22,784.89 - £24,839.26 (under 5 years continuous local government service)

                       £23,304.44 - £25,405.64 (over 5 years continuous local government service)

This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

 

This is a fixed term post for 1 year.

 

An opportunity has arisen to work within the SEND Support Service team as a Specialist Practitioner SEND.

 

You will be working with a SEND Teacher to deliver the education provision for a young person with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), within a hub type provision.

 

This will be at the Blurton Children's Centre.

 

The post is initially fixed term for 1 year.

 

Applications are welcome from qualified practitioners who hold at least an NVQ Level 4 Qualification or equivalent and have some experience of supporting pupils with SEND.

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

• Is a consistently good or outstanding classroom practitioner

 

• Has high expectations for pupils and is an excellent communicator

 

• Is enthusiastic and motivated

 

• Is able to work well in teams and individually

 

•Has experience of working with pupils with SEND
