Site Manager, Ryders Green Primary

The Governors at Ryders Green Primary School are looking for a committed, reliable and resourceful person to take on this rewarding role in making our site the very best for the children, parents and staff. We have a fantastic environment both inside and outside of our school that we would love someone to continue to develop and maintain it further.

You will be expected to manage and be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and repair of the site. This will be a busy and physically demanding position. The person appointed will be able to communicate with a wide range of people. They will be managed by the Headteacher and Office Administrators.

The role is for 52 weeks of the year, with holiday entitlement to be taken during the school holidays. The working hours will be Monday-Thursday 7.00am-10.45am and 2.45-6.15pm, Friday 7.00am-10.45am and 2.00pm-6.15pm.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Any offer of appointment will be subject to successful DBS clearance and 2 satisfactory references and a clear Disqualification by association return.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Hours:  37 hrs per week, Monday-Thursday 7.00am-10.45am and 2.45-6.15pm, Friday 7.00am-10.45am and 2.00pm-6.15pm.

Salary:   Grade E, SCP 18-25, £29,269 - £33,945 p.a.
