TEACHING ASSISTANT POST (with additional needs) - Level 2 (Grade 4)
Salary: £17,181.00 gross, pay award pending.
Starting ASAP for 27.5 hours per week (but there could be the need for the hours to be extended, so flexibility is needed. This will be a fixed term contract in the first instance until July 2025, but could be extended.
This post is to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis, but will be working within the Y2 classroom.
We would require someone to work for 5 1/2 hours a day (Monday to Friday) initially.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 8:45am to 12:15pm, and 1:15pm to 3:15pm.

We are seeking:
- An enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant (Level 2) to provide support on a 1:1 basis.
- Someone who has a clam yet positive manner
- Someone who is adaptable with a caring nature, who can support this pupil's integration with the rest of the class
Candidates MUST hold a recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification (minimum) or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate experience in this area.
Applicants will have experience of working within a primary setting and should be able to clearly demonstrate this in their application.

The successful applicant must be prepared to work in an atmosphere where the Catholic viewpoint is put first and be prepared to actively promote this.
