Our Improvement, Performance and Engagement team supports teams across Children & Families services. We bring together the voice of families, qualitative information and performance data to help our services celebrate their successes and identify areas of improvement. We cover a wide range of areas from early help to social work, education, and youth offending.
As a team, we provide ourselves in the support we give each other and the opportunities that this creates for development and progression. We work together to innovate and improve using a high support, high challenge approach. We know we have the most impact when we work together as a team.
We take data from different systems and using the appropriate tools, we identify trends and insights which help our services to provide the best support for the children and families in Staffordshire as well as making sure we fulfil our statutory requirements.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will :
- take a lead role in providing data, intelligence and analysis that drives service improvement and improves the outcomes of children, young people and families.
- support in developing an impactful service that supports, challenges and evaluates services.
- lead a dynamic team in the analysis and presentation of both quantitative and qualitative data, driving insights that shape our future; working together to look for opportunities for innovation and improvements
- work closely with stakeholders, partners, other Intelligence and Analysis Managers and Continuous Improvement Officers to ensure a joined-up approach to project and service delivery.
- work across the children and families system to ensure that the IT systems and processes provide intelligence led management and performance reports.
- be responsible for the co-ordination, oversight and completion of our statutory returns.
- work with our managers and practitioners to help them understand how good quality recording helps to demonstrate the impact they have through supporting families in Staffordshire.
You'll have:
- experience of managing and developing a team of analysts.
- a passion for innovation and improvement using data and technology.
- experience of being able to measure outcomes for children, young people and families from a performance and intelligence perspective
- an extensive knowledge of performance management tools and techniques
- excellent problem solving ability,
- excellent communication and influencing skills, with and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Working pattern: Full time | Part time | Flexible working – we’re happy to discuss options
Interviews will be held at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford ST16 2DH, on 9th October. Candidates will be asked to complete a test prior to interview.
