Position of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (TA Level 3, TA Supporting PPA and short term cover) 

(Working hours: 27.5 hours a week, 39 weeks per annum)

The Headteacher and Governing body at St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team from September.  This position would be perfect for a Teaching Assistant who is looking to work with whole classes where the teacher is not present, undertake specified work involving planning preparing and delivering learning activities to pupils/small groups or whole classes.

We are hoping to employ somebody who is fun, committed, likes working with children and who will go the extra mile for our community.  We offer a lovely place to work, a fabulous team, free parking and well resourced planning for lessons we ask you to teach.  

The position will involve some class teaching, leading some intervention groups for learners, liaising with the SENDCO and Head teacher and also leading the team of Teaching Assistants that are working within school.
