The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Social Care Worker in the Bromsgrove Area Social Work Team. Are you enthusiastic, dynamic, and want to join a dedicated and very supportive team delivering Adult Social Care across the Bromsgrove area including Wythall, Rubery and Hagley

In Worcestershire we have adopted the 3 Conversation model of practice which involves a strength-based approach to working with people. You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and can approve and purchase support packages to support people to make positive changes in their life. You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues, other statutory partners, and voluntary sector providers. You are given opportunities and supported to be creative, innovative and search for strength-based solutions.

We are a very supportive and friendly team. We promote a positive team culture and learning environment which includes weekly reflective practice and catch-up sessions, to include both office and home-based working.

You will be offered on-going training, and professional development opportunities, monthly supervision, and a warm, supportive working environment where we value your contribution, and team members value and support each other.

Quotes from the Team:
“I enjoy working within Worcestershire. There is great opportunities for training and learning to enable me to offer a good service to people in the Bromsgrove Area. I feel like I can make a difference for people and enable them to live their life in their way!“

“The Bromsgrove Area team is a very supportive and welcoming team to work on. I have worked on the team for 5 years and I still enjoy my job. I feel that I am supported by managers and other people on the team. I can also have a laugh and enjoy a coffee with my fellow team members.

What people we support say:
“M is an excellent Social Care Worker. She has helped me to get the support for my Mum that she needed.”

“G really listened to me and really seemed to understand how hard it had been in caring for my brother.”
