Behaviour Mentor
Grade 3 SCP 8-11
Actual Salary £21,341.30– £22,444.50
37 hours per week - term time only
We are currently looking to appoint a permanent Behaviour Mentor to support children to achieve their potential.
Key area of responsibility:
Provide support to children, to overcome any barriers to learning and improve behaviour both inside and outside school.
Experience and essential attributes:
- Experience of working with pupils demonstrating challenging behaviour or dealing with disadvantaged circumstances.
- Experience of supporting pupils with specific needs, including behaviour.
- Experience of working with children and their emotional needs.
- Understand the need for confidentiality and ensure clear and sensitive communication.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and their families.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
