Full Time (32.5 hours)

Maternity Leave Cover – 04.11.24 - 31.12.24

Salary Main Scale 1 to 4, £30,000 - £36051 per annum

The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified class teacher to work as part of our dynamic, forward thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new direction for the school. The post is for a year 3 class and is likely to be for half a term in the first instance.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of teaching within the primary age range, in particular KS2.
• Have a clear understanding of the curriculum and assessment for learning
• Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement
• Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum planning that captures the children’s interest
• Be forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic
• Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children
• Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community
• Support our Christian ethos as a church school
