Breakfast Club 7.15am-8.45am Monday to Friday
After School Cub 3.00pm-6.00pm Tuesday and Thursday and 3.00pm-5.00pm Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Term Time only 38 weeks per annum
Hours: 15.5 per week
Pay Scale: Band B NJC SCP 2-3 pro-rata

Tanworth-in-Arden CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Wrap-Around Play Worker to join our team supporting children at our Breakfast Club and After School Club called The Ark.
Our Breakfast Club operates from 7.30am to 8.45am and our After-School club operates from 3.15pm through to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and until 5.00pm on Friday.
This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for primary school students during wrap-around care sessions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, creating fun activities and games, and contributing to the overall well-being and development of young learners.
Core responsibilities of Wrap Around Care staff will be to assist in providing a welcoming, stimulating and positive start and end to the day for our children in our breakfast/after school club setting.
The main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The supervision of children to enhance the development of children's learning and social integration
Plan and organise age-appropriate and engaging activities for children
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction, creativity, and physical activity.
Help with setting up, clearing away and with the preparation of food.
Liaising/communicating with parents and teachers
Cleaning the wraparound club setting for next use
The successful candidate will need to be highly professional and reliable and have desire and experience of working with children aged 5 to 11 years. An ideal candidate will have a relevant Childcare qualification minimum however this is not requirement for the role.
The candidate needs to be enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking and most importantly willing to have fun with an organised structure and enjoy working with children.
