Job Start Date: 21st October 2024 (but there is flexibility on this)

Hours: 18 hours over 3 days (6 hours a day including a 30-minute unpaid break)

Salary: Scale 6 Points 19-22, £29,777-31364 pro rata, actual salary £12,446.47 - £13,109.82 per annum

Contract: Maternity Cover

St Anne’s Primary School and Nursery’s board of Governors are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join the St Anne’s Primary School team.

This role is to cover the Maternity Leave of our current Finance Manager.

We hope that the successful candidate will be available to start from October 21st in order to overlap with the current Finance Manager before she begins her maternity leave. If this is not possible, we would like the successful candidate to be able to at least spend a day or two completing a hand over prior to them starting.

You will be responsible for the oversight of all school resources and will be expected to develop, direct and coordinate the full range of school financial & administrative services. To take an active role in developing strategies for the longer-term use & development of the overall business and school site.

We are looking for someone who has relevant and appropriate qualifications and/or experience, ideally with previous experience of working in a school environment. Experience with systems such as iTrent, E5, SAP, SIMS.net SAGE or similar is required. Good communication and inter-personal skills and a high degree of initiative are also essential.

You will be based in a busy school office so having a friendly and courteous manner towards both adults and children is very important.
