Parkside Middle School is a thriving and vibrant middle school, for pupils aged 9-13, in the heart of Bromsgrove. It is a high performing, oversubscribed school that received a ‘Good’ judgement for ‘Overall Effectiveness’ and an ‘Outstanding’ judgement for ‘Personal Development’ from its most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2019).
We are committed to providing the highest quality of education that enables pupils to excel academically, through the delivery of strong teaching supported by expert subject leads. We pride ourselves on success in developing pupils’ character, so they become socially and emotionally aware, confident young people.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, innovative, KS2 and /or KS3 Teacher with the passion and ability to inspire young people. We are looking for an inspirational candidate with proven experience in Upper KS2 and / or KS3 (ECT’s are welcome to apply). The ideal candidate will be someone who sets high expectations for children, makes learning enjoyable, ensures that every child is valued and is supported to take opportunities to reach their potential.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to ensure that each unique child has opportunities to interact in positive relationships, whilst embracing the development of all aspects of their learning. The ability to work as part of a team is essential. The candidate will need to demonstrate strong subject knowledge in English and Maths and an excellent understanding of Quality First Teaching in KS2 and / or KS3. An interest in teaching Geography, Science or PE would be welcome.
