Job Details
An exciting opportunity has become available at Red Hall Primary School as KS1 Phase Leader of our Key Stage One provision. We are looking to appoint a motivated and passionate individual to join our Senior Leadership Team who is committed to working collaboratively with the Headteacher and staff team in raising pupil standards and securing the best possible achievements and progress for every child. The successful candidate will be based in Key Stage One. We have a supportive Governing Body who are helping to ensure that standards are rising throughout the school.

We are looking for someone with:
- A passion for teaching and learning and a sound subject knowledge, that can be utilised to challenge all pupils. The ability to motivate, inspire and stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment of learning in pupils.
- Experience of leading a team to deliver high performance.
- Experience of performance management.
- Committed to inclusion and clear knowledge of how to work with multi-agencies to support children with a wide range of needs and abilities.
- Robust knowledge of early childhood development and how to support families to improve outcomes for pupils.
- A secure knowledge of the teaching and learning of phonics and strategies to encourage rich language acquisition.
- An excellent understanding of the importance of the development of early reading and writing.
- High aspirations for all children rooted in the belief that every child has the potential to succeed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
- High expectations of pupils in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour.
- A strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 16th October with a 1st January 2025 start date.
