This role is ideal for someone who is reflective in their approach, dedicated to inclusive practice, and keen to engage in continued professional development (CPD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons to KS2 pupils in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring high standards of behaviour and engagement.

  • A reflective and adaptable approach, willing to continually improve and grow professionally.
  • Committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.
  • A confident communicator with strong classroom management skills.
  • A proactive team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Eager to engage in CPD and stay updated on the latest educational practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and supporting their learning.
  • A relevant qualification (such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor qualification) is desirable but not essential.
  • A good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or equivalent.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and welcoming school environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A chance to be part of a vibrant school community committed to inclusivity and innovation.

If you are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and are ready to grow both personally and professionally, we would love to hear from you!
