The Families First for Pathfinder programme aims to support families to overcome challenges so they can stay together and thrive, while acting decisively to protect children when needed. We will test significant reforms across family help, child protection, multi-agency safeguarding arrangements, and making greater use of family networks. The goal is to provide families with the right help at the right time, delivered by the right people.

In Warwickshire, we have an unprecedented opportunity to transform how local and national services help and protect children and families. We have commitment from local partners, including sign-up and leadership from WCC, Warwickshire Police, Coventry & Warwickshire Integrated Care Board and Education Partners. We will also engage meaningfully with children, families, communities, education, and other key partners.

Newly Formed Warwickshire Children’s Safeguarding Partnership

As part of the Families First for Children Pathfinder changes, we are excited to launch our newly refreshed Warwickshire Children’s Safeguarding Partnership. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to support the partnership in the role of Quality, Learning & Improvement Officer.

The role of Quality, Learning, and Improvement Officer is pivotal in ensuring the partnership board is supported to improve outcomes in safeguarding children and young people across the county, and to evidence the impact of our partnership safeguarding activity. If you have the passion, drive, skills and desire to be part of our safeguarding board, and you want the opportunity to make a genuine difference, then we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across the Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Partnership. This role involves monitoring and evaluating the quality of multi-agency safeguarding practices, identifying areas for development, and implementing learning to enhance overall effectiveness. The Quality, Learning and Improvement Officer will play a crucial role in gathering and analysing data to inform practice improvements, supporting the development of the multi-agency training offer, and ensuring that the partnership remains responsive to emerging safeguarding challenges and opportunities for improvement.

To apply please  about why you think you have the right experience, skills and passion to undertake this role.
