The Trustees of The Loriners MAT are seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Start Date:  No later than Monday 6th January 2025

Deadline for application: Wednesday 9th October 2024 at noon

Interviews: Thursday 17th October 2024 (afternoon and evening)

Salary: Leadership Scale 8 – 12

Point 8 - £56,085  (rising to £59,167 post pay award) to

Point 12 - £61,882 (rising to £65,286 post pay award)

Contract Type: Full time (37 hours / 52 weeks pa)

Why this exciting role is available

This vacancy has arisen at our well led and highly regarded MAT due to the forthcoming retirement of the current CFO.

As a member of the Executive Team our CFO will work very closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Trust Directors and Head of School of the academies within the trust, to help shape the strategic vision for our MAT.

The Person

The successful person will have a proven track record in financial management, detailed knowledge of financial practices, procedures, and regulations, and will have the ability to work strategically and operationally to maintain high standards within our organisation.

They will work with the Trust Finance Team in the day-to-day financial operations and will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing our financial policies and procedures to ensure effective efficient and compliant Trust Financial Management in line with the Academy Trust’s Handbook

The successful person will be appropriately qualified and will hold a recognised accountancy qualification.

The Loriners Multi Academy Trust is an all primary trust, currently incorporating Park Hall Junior Academy and Park Hall Infant Academy. This is an exciting time to join our trust, formed by Park Hall Junior Academy in 2022, as we progress on our journey to MAT expansion and development.
