1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and cooperative addition to join our Teaching Assistant team at Brookhurst Primary School. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification and an interest in helping children achieve their best. The post holder will become part of our SEN team working initially as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant. 

The post will be for 39 weeks a year, term time only plus 5 teacher training days. The hours of work will be 35 hours per week - 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break. The TA role will equate to 32.5 hours per week and then at lunchtimes you will join our team of lunchtime supervisors to assist in the supervision of the children within the dining hall or on the playground. The hours of work for this will be 2.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
