Caretaker (25 hrs per week)

Grade 5 SCP 6-9

 Salary £23,893 - £25,119 (Actual Salary - £16,143.92)

We are delighted to advertise an excellent opportunity to join our team of Caretakers in our highly successful College. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to provide efficient and effective caretaking support. You will ensure the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained, in line with required standards.

About the role:

• Part time (25hrs per week), whole year, ensuring adequate Holiday cover and providing cover for emergency call-out
• Ensure heating plant and equipment is efficiently and effectively operated, maintenance and cleaning of lighting and plumbing
• Porterage tasks, general decorating and joinery
• Disposal of waste material in a safe and hygienic manner
• Undertake risk assessments and COSHH procedures as appropriate
• Record keeping and monitoring, replacement and ordering of consumables
• May be required to drive the school minibus and /or carry out weekly minibus maintenance
