25 hours Monday – Friday term time only plus INSET days (with the possibility of increasing to 32.5hrs) Job share applications considered 

Band B point 3 – 5 £22,737 - £23,500 (£17,121 - £17,695 actual salary)

Berkswell CE Primary School is an oversubscribed, one form entry school with a strong Christian ethos and a great sense of community.   We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our well-established team from October 2024 as a 1:1 support in KS1.

 

The Governors are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant who:

  • will support and promote the Christian ethos and values of the school
  • is able to work with a child on a 1:1 basis to develop communication skills 
  • has experience of working with children with complex special needs
  • has high standards and expectations in every aspect of school life;
  • is committed to working as part of our wider KS1 team;
  • is an inclusive practitioner who firmly believes that all pupils can succeed
  • is able to communicate effectively with parents/carers
  • is committed to continued professional development.
