Two Rivers High School
Our school meets the needs of 272 pupils with special needs including ADHD, autism, speech, language and communication difficulties and social & emotional difficulties. Re-awarded in March 2024, Two Rivers High School is an Outstanding School for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Purpose of the role:
You’ll be working with children and young people with a range of special educational need – to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. It can be a tough journey, but the positive steps forward will make up for it.
As a Teaching Assistant at Two Rivers High School you will get all the support you need to succeed, from Teaching staff, SLT, in-house specialists and therapy professionals. Due to expansion Two Rivers High School are looking to recruit Teaching Assistant posts on either a Casual/ Temporary or Permanent basis to join our excellent team, on either a 30 or 32.5 hour per week contract, term time only. Required to start as soon as possible.
We are offering contracts on a permanent, temporary or casual supply basis.
30hrs/week: Monday-Friday (Term-time only)
Salary range: £23,893-£25,119 (FTE 37 hours)
£16,737 pa (actual salary)
32.5hrs/week: Monday-Friday (Term time only)
Salary range: £23,893-£25,119 (FTE 37 hours)
£18,132 pa (actual salary)
Key Requirements:
NVQ3 or equivalent qualification and experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
