Cleaner - Tividale Community Primary

Tividale Community Primary School wishes to appoint a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic cleaner to start on 6th January 2025. The contract is Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within the school.

Duties will include vacuuming, polishing, clearing litter, deep cleaning and using powered equipment such as vacuums, shampoo and buffing machines. It is desirable for the applicant to have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment. Please note that this is an all year round post and the postholder will be required to work during some of the school holiday periods.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Salary:

Band A, SCP 2 £22,366 pro rata (£11.59 per hour) (actual £7,556 per annum) plus a Living Wage supplement to £12.00 per hour, payable from 1 April 2024
