Learning Support Assistant - St Mary Magdalene C of E Primary

Salary: Band B.  Part time, negotiable hours.

The Headteacher and Governors of St Mary Magdalene C of E Primary are seeking to appoint a level 2 Learning Support Assistant to work supporting children in school.

The ideal candidate will have:

•    Excellent English skills (Clear written and spoken English) along with good reading and numeracy skills.
•    Knowledge and experience of effective behaviour management.
•    The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.
•    The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment is essential.
•    Qualifications including, GCSE in English and Maths (A to C) or equivalent.

Negotiable, Fixed term until July 2025 due to funding

Salary:

Band B, SCP 3-4 £22,737-£23,114 pro rata (£11.79-£11.98 per hour) plus a Living Wage supplement to £12.00 per hour, payable from 1 April 2024
